Real humans, real replies. Whether you've got a question about your account, a subscription, your data, or just need a hand using the app — we'll help.
This is the fastest way to reach us. Write in whatever detail you like — the more we know, the more helpful we can be.
hello@getovela.spaceThe most common things we hear from people — answers below.
Creating an account, signing in, resetting your password, or deleting your data.
Free trials, renewals, cancelling, refunds, and managing your plan in Apple ID.
What we store, what we don't, how to export your data, and how to delete it.
Talking to Ovela, logging your diary, picking your symptoms, and finding the Learn library.
App crashes, sync problems, slow chat, and what to do when something's not working.
Tell us what's missing, what's working, or what we should build next. We read everything.
If your question isn't here, write to hello@getovela.space.
Download Ovela from the App Store, open the app, and walk through the short onboarding (your name, where you are in menopause, and the symptoms you're tracking). At the end you'll be asked to create an account with email and a password, or sign in with Apple.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. We'll send a secure reset link. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us.
Open the app, go to Account → Delete account, and follow the prompts. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes:
Deletion is immediate and final. There's no recovery.
If you'd prefer, you can also email hello@getovela.space from the address linked to your account and we'll handle it within 1 working day.
Ovela has a free tier with 3 messages per day to the AI companion, plus the full diary, mood log, daily tips, and Learn library.
The premium subscription unlocks unlimited conversations with Ovela, full conversation memory, and personalised pattern insights. Two options:
Both plans start with a 7-day free trial.
When you start a subscription, the first 7 days are free. You'll have full premium access during that window. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your selected plan begins automatically when the trial ends.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so cancellation happens in your Apple ID settings — not inside Ovela. To cancel:
You can also cancel directly via Apple's Subscriptions page. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours of the renewal date. The renewal price matches the plan you selected at signup unless we tell you otherwise in advance.
You can turn auto-renewal off at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings — that keeps your access until the period ends but stops the next charge.
All payments are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com — sign in, find the Ovela charge, and submit a refund request. Apple decides each case.
If you can't get it sorted that way, email us and we'll do what we can to help.

When you open a conversation, the app sends your recent diary entries and your symptom profile to the AI companion as context — alongside your past chat history. That's why Ovela can say things like "I noticed you logged poor sleep three nights this week." It only ever uses your own data, and only to answer you.
Yes. Open the app, tap your profile, then Symptom preferences to update the symptoms you're tracking. Your name and stage of menopause can be edited from Account.
Because Ovela is a wellness companion, not a medical professional. She can support and educate but she can't diagnose, prescribe, or replace clinical care. Anything that affects your health belongs in a conversation with a qualified human.
A few things, in order:
Check your internet connection first — Ovela needs a network to talk to the AI. If you're on a stable connection and replies still aren't coming through, sign out and back in, then try again. If it persists, write to us with the date/time it happened so we can check the logs.
Not yet. iOS only at launch. Android is on the roadmap — email hello@getovela.space if you'd like a heads-up when it arrives.
Email hello@getovela.space. We genuinely read every message. Some of the best features in Ovela came from women writing in to tell us what they wished she could do.
Yes — drop us an email saying you'd like to be on the testing list. We rotate small groups of women through new features before wider release.
Ovela offers two auto-renewable subscriptions:
Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
By subscribing, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
